Passport Laser Jammer, Shifter ZR4

	The ZR4 laser shifter easily connects into the Passport 9500i, and new Passport 9500ci remote radar detector. Connects directly into the Passport 8500 X50 radar detector also.

Product Tests

The Passport ZR4 is a much better laser jammer than the Escort ZR3 laser shifter with additional jamming codes to defeat Laser Atlanta and Stlaker LZ1 laser guns. Speed Measurement and 1stRadarDetectors tested the Escort ZR3 Laser Jammer in 2005 and it was good, but not best. The ZR4 has improved significantly, offers a Display, and most importantly allows the driver to switch stealth modes between Laser jamming and laser Detection only.

Passport ZR4 has the advantage of integrating directly into the displays of other Passport radar detectors and Beltronics remote radar detectors. In some installations this is important due to space restrictions. The Escort ZR4 laser shifter incorporates a new "NO Screw", Turtle mounting kit, which requires no drilling what so ever.

The ZR4 Laser Shifter will be tested by 1stRadarDetectors.com in June 2008 at Speed Measurement Labs to verify the improvements. Escort has historically produced leading edge products, so we expect to see superb laser jamming results in June 2008! We will test it against the Laser Atlanta in normal mode and stealth mode, LTI laser guns and Stalker LZ1 laser guns. These 3 laser guns are the most difficult to detect and jam.
