Performance

The PRS4-V Prowler Remote system is the best integrated front and rear radar detection and laser jamming system available today.

• The Valentine One Radar Detector can detect the Ka radar band, the most used radar band today, at 9+ miles when installed at the correct exterior location on the vehicle. The Valentine Radar's sensitivity is superb for detecting weak signals from hidden "over-the-hill" and "around-the-curve" radar traps. Average radar detectors can not provide this level of sensitivity. The Valentine 1 radar detector is also excellent at filtering out false noise alerts.
• Radar Detection - The Valentine One was road tested at Speed Measurement Labs and on several 1000 mile trips. The objective was to determine how well the Valentine One radar detector detects radar when mounted in the windshield. During our road testing of the Valentine One, we logged a typical 9+ mile distance detection of Ka radar; some of the best detection sensitivity. False alerts were minimized by turning off X band radar detection, but we discovered that some police are resorting back to X band radar, knowing that many drivers turn X band off. We suggest that you drive with X band on, just in case. The Valentine 1 radar detector is the only radar detector to offer Dual Band K and Ka POP3 alerts. We noted some POP3 alerts in our road tests, a very fast, (67millisecond) burst radar pulse. This type of signal leaves very little time for detection, but the Valentine 1 does it very well with few false alerts. We recommend POP3 to be turned on and Highway X to be turned off. This permits fewer false noise alerts and allows the superb detection sensitivity to be used for your protection.
• Laser Jammer and Laser Detector - We tested the Blinder M47 Laser Jammer at Speed Measurement Labs for distance of jam, jam to gun performance, punch through, etc. Please review the test results to get details of this superb laser blinder protection. Speed Measurement Labs confirmed the Blinders were the very best at defeating a variety of laser guns.
