The PRS1-B-360 Remote was tested in 2006 and found to be the best compact, 360 degree protection system, offering both radar detection and laser jamming.

You can drive down the highway with the knowledge that you have an excellent hidden radar detector with front radar detection, and nobody can see what you have! The Beltronics RX75 Remote Radar Detector will detect X, K, Ka Superwide bans and Laser. You can select different modes of operation for your highway driving. Operation is for North, South and Central America.

The Bel RX75 Radar Detector incorporates the latest varactor tuned oscilators from Beltronics to provide excellent over-the-hill radar detection of weak radar signals. It provides superb radar alerts before you get to the top of a hill and drive into a hidden radar trap. Two cockpit displays tell you which radar band has been detected, the strength of the signal (how close it is) and voice alerts to get your immediate attention. The Radar band (X, K, Ka, Laser) is indicated for Front and Rear alerts.

The Blinder M45 and M25 Laser Jammers are outstanding, and there is no laser gun that can penetrate the front or rear of your vehicle protected with these laser jammers.

Performance

The PRS1-B Prowler Remote system is the one of the best remote radar detection, laser jamming systems available today.

The Beltronics RX75 radar detector can detect the Ka radar band (the most commonly used radar band) at 8 miles when installed at the correct exterior location on the vehicle. The sensitivity is superb for detecting weak signals from hidden over-the-hill and around-the-curve radar. Average radar detectors do not provide this level of sensitivity.

The Beltronics RX75 Radar Detector is also excellent at filtering out false noise alerts.

Radar - We road tested the Bel RX Remote Radar Detector at Speed Measurement Labs and on several 1000 mile trips. The objective was to determine how well the Bel RX75 radar detector detects radar. Installing the Bel RX75 at a good location is important. Installing any radar detector as high as possible in the vehicle improves its capability to detect radar. During our road testing, we logged a typical radar detection of Ka band radar at 8 miles; one of the best detection sensitivities available today.

Bel RX75 radar detector false alerts were minimized by turning off X band radar detection, but we also discovered that some police are switching back to X band radar, knowing that many drivers turn X band off. We suggest that you drive with X band on, just in case. The Beltronics RX75 radar detector does not alert to POP3.

Laser - We tested the Blinder M45 Laser Jammer and Blinder M25 Laser Jammer at Speed Measurement Labs in 2006 for distance of jam, jam to gun performance, punch through, etc. Guys of Lidar also tested the M45 Laser Jammer and M25 Laser Jammer with superb results. Please review the test results for details of this superb Blinder protection. Speed Measurement Labs confirmed the Blinders were more than capable at defeating a variety of laser guns...Best in preformance.
