	Escort 9500ix detects Ka very, very well. Laser Jammer and Blinder M47 - If you want protection from the LTI Ultralyte, Stalker LZ-1, Laser Atlanta, Kustom Pro III, Laveg, Riegl laser guns, get the M47 laser jammer.

Product Tests

• Radar Detector Test - During our road testing of the Passport 9500ix radar detector, we logged a typical 9.4 mile distance detection of Ka radar. This is extremely good and the very best detection sensitivity. False alerts were minimized by engaging the GPS locate feature, which allows the Escort 9500ix to remember false noise locations, photo traps and radar traps. We would still suggest sutting X band off in town. The SWS detector alerts (special K band safety alerts) when turned on and selected, will alert you to road hazards and construction; if the SWS transmitter technology is used by road crews and ambulances. We found that we would often encounter road hazard situations, but sometimes the Escort 9500ix did not alert due to the SWS technology not being used by the road crews and ambulances. The Passport 9500ix Radar Detector is very good at alerting you to a real POP3 signal, which is a very fast, (67millisecond) burst radar pulse. Many radar detectors today can detect fast radar pulses, but can not tell if the fast signal is simply a false alert or a real POP3 radar burst. The Passport 9500ix can detect POP3 better than nearly all other radar detectors with very few false alerts.
• Laser Jammer Test - The Blinder M47 is a laser jammer tested by 1stRadarDetectors, Speed Measurement Labs and a host of other companies, all of which concludes the laser jammer, Blinder M47 is a superb, highly effective laser jammer.
