Easy to Install

The Passport 9500ci radar detector is installed, hidden up on your sun visor or behind your grille. You can install behind your front bumper, if it is a foam core bumper with no metal in front of the Escort 9500ci.

For vehicles with Cambus power control such as Audi, Mercedes, Chrysler 2008 and newer; hardwire the APC 12 Vdc to 5A Interior Rear View Mirror tap in the fuse box. All other vehicles, connect 12Vdc to Cigarette Power line.

Some companies offer $400 installers, but if they do not know their head from there butt, a $400 installation is not a good deal. WE KNOW WHO THE GOOD INSTALLERS ARE. Check out the small Escort 9500ci radar detector display. If you want to really do this right, have your installer locate the display in your dash, so that when the display is off, nobody even knows what's in your car. When it is on, the Passport 9500ci Display shows the normal bootup displays and all the alert information - from behind your sppedo display. Install the small control unit into the dash or your center console.

Many of our competitors direct their customers to the corporate electronic shops that claim to do fast work. But quality work and fine details are not part of the Fast Installers business. Locate a good, local Stereo Installation shop to provide professional work for you. The Corporate install shops are there for speed, not detail or thoughful work. Average shops generally do not listen to what you want, and typically do not do what you ask. We will work with your local shop and verify they are qualified for this installation.
