You can defeat photo radar and prevent traffic cameras and mobile speed cameras from getting a picture of your motorcycle license plate. The SCD-M provides two modes of operation: Photoblocker and License Plate Lights. The Photoblocker will detect and prevent images of your motorcycle license plate by speed cameras and mobile photo radar vans. Alternatively, you can switch to license plate light only in those areas that do not allow license plate photo protection.

The Speed Camera Detector does not block your license plate from view at any time, and does not interfere with radar or laser guns; nor does it prevent anybody from seeing your license plate. But is outstanding alerting you when a camera attempts to photograph your license plate. It is a useless attempt when you are in Speed Camera mode. If you are in Light mode, the license plate lights are turned on but no speed camera detect is turned on.
Our photo blocker includes an electronic speed camera defense protecting the motorcycle license plate, while providing daytime and night time lighting. In Speed Camera mode, the SCD-M provides an audio alert and warning LED to alert the driver when there was an attempt to photo your plate. It is an attempt, but not possible to photograph your license plate in Speed Camera Detect mode.
