Performance

• The Bel STi-R Remote radar detector can detect a Ka radar signal at 10 miles . The STi-R is really that good! What this is really showing you is its capability to detect hidden, over the hil, radar traps; and those scoundrels hiding around the curve. The STi-R remote is equally good on K and X band, as well as POP3 radar. No other remote radar detector can provide this level of performance. The Bel STi-R Remote is also very good at filtering out false noise alerts. Laser - The Bel STi Remote can detect laser from down in the grille where the laser is aimed. Just detecting laser is not enough; you must also jam the laser to protect yourself from police laser guns. In our opinion, it is a waste of time to detect laser from the windshield. If you detect laser at the windshield, they have already detected your speed with a laser gun. If you want laser protection, buy the M45 laser jammer and install the products into the grille, where the police aim laser guns.
