How did Escort Radar Detector achieve this simpler, installation? First, Escort Radar designed a single wire solution from the front receiver to the vehicle’s interior. Next, they completely redesigned the interface module, incorporating the audio circuit and speaker which reduced its size and minimized the number of connections. Simply zip-tie the interface up under the dash, connect it to the 12Vdc supply at the fuse box and plug in the display and receiver connectors. All the connections are plugged in using modular RJ11, plug and play connectors for the ultimate in convenience.
Escort Radar then modified the Shifter ZR4, laser jammer. It is a Shifter Pack with two laser shifters in the kit. The shifter pack is plugged into the Escort Qi45 interface. The Shifter ZR4 two pack is priced at $249.95 additional.
Or the optional Laser Jammer, Blinder X-Treme, M27 laser jammer can be combined with the Qi45 radar detector. Blinder X-Treme operates beside the Qi45 radar detector, but is not plugged into the Passport Qi45. Typically retailed at $979.90, the Blinder M27 is discounted $30 when you buy this combo package.
