This Infrared (IR) Laser Tester operates with a 9V battery, which is included. Press and hold the center Red button for approximately 1-2 seconds until the red light glows, pointing the 1stRD Laser Tester towards the laser receiver that is being tested, such as Blinder M47 laser jammer, Blinder M27, Cheetah M27 motorcycle laser jammer, ShifterZR4, Laser Interceptor, Laser Pro Park, K40 Defuser and other laser jammers. The laser detector may be on the left or right side, so move the 1stRD Laser Tester slowly back and forth until you find the detector and get a laser alert. You can also test radar detectors, such as Passport 9500ci, Escort Redline, Bel STi Driver, Bel GX65, Bel RX65, Passport 9500ix, Passport 9500i, Passport 8500x50 and the Valentine 1 radar detector. This 1stRD IR Laser Tester has 4 modes of operation. It will automatically cycle through 4 different pulse rates with a slight pause between each change. Releasing the button and pressing again starts the cycle over again. 1. 100 pps- U.S. guns, such as the LTI Ultralyte 2. 125 pps- U.S. guns such as the LTI marksman, Ultralyte 20/20 3. 200 pps- U.S. guns such as Kustom Pro Lite and Kustom Pro Laser III 4. 3195 pps- European use for future higher pulse rates used in Europe, as some US detectors and receivers may not alert.
MAJOR FEATURES
- IR output is invisible and can be potentially harmful if you look into infrared, invisible light.
- Do NOT look into the Laser Tester device when it is powered up!
- The 1stRD IR Laser Tester is NOT waterproof and can not be used in rainy/snowy weather
- Remove the battery when not being used for a long period of time to prevent battery leakage which can cause internal damage
