Radar Roy (Roy Reyer) sold his online business, RadarBusters.com, to NetShops in 2007 for an undisclosed amount of money. NetShops also aquired Radar Roy's associated RadarBusters.com websites, as well as radarjammer.com and radardetector.net. RadarBusters sold nearly all radar detector products, good performance and badNetShops has bought out a number of other online retailers, including Binoculars.com, Pans.com and Telescopes.com, among others. Radar Roy may "remain in the industry as a consultant," but good luck getting him on the phone at RadarBusters.com to share his knowledge of radar detectors and laser jammers! As an update for Speed Measurement Labs 2009, Roy Reyer has not been invited to SML 2009 Radar Detector Test and Review. 1stRadarDetectors is now the last remaining radar detector company that attends annually to verify product performance of the products sold by 1stRadarDetectors.

In our opinion, the loss of Radar Roy from RadarBusters.com will change a once useful and competitive locally owned business into just another 'K-Mart' trying to sell whatever they can as quickly as possible to whomever will buy it.
