Purchase of Bel radar detectors, Escort Radar and Passport radar detectors from any unauthorized reseller will likely exclude you from Beltronics and Passport warranty, service or support. You should be aware that certain unauthorized resellers have been charged with criminal misconduct.

You should protect your product purchase by purchasing from 1stRadarDetectors, an authorized reseller of Beltronics and Escort Passport.

Unauthorized resellers may show a pattern of complaints if you check with the Better Business Bureau.

You may also find other complaints online about some unauthorized resellers.

Pictures taken of some unauthorized reseller locations have shown shuttered warehouses, mailbox stores, or apartment buildings.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not apply to your product under any of the following conditions:

1. Your receipt or proof-of-purchase is from a non-authorized dealer or internet auction site including eBay, uBid, or other non-authorized resellers.
2. The serial number has been removed or modified.
3. Your product has been subjected to misuse or damage (including water damage, physical abuse and/or improper installation).
4. Your product has been modified in any way.
5. You are not the original purchaser of the radar detector from an authorized dealer or did not receive it as a gift from the original purchaser of the radar detector from an authorized dealer.

Purchasing any Beltronics product from any company on the unauthorized resellers below will subject you to unauthorized reseller risks. We update this list of unauthorized Beltronics sellers from quarter to quarter.
