The Escort 9500i radar detector can be updated with the USB connector on the right side. Check out the front, RF tuned faceplate. That bubble you see helps to direct RF signals into the front antenna. Only Escort and Beltronics have the technical knowledge to implement this concept on the Passport 9500i and Bel STi Driver radar detectors.
