Escort 8500 X50 under test with 1stRadarDetectors. the 8500 X50 detected a K band radar trap over the top of this next hill before they could even see we were coming. The X50 is in Spec mode, where it displays the frequency. For Electronic Techs like me (John Turner), the Spec Mode is a very nice feature. The Escort X50 also displays radar band and signal strength. Easy mode changes with this detector. check out the Blue display. Very easy on your eyes at night, and hard for other people to see the display from a distance, so they don't crowd your bumper at night.
