Speed Measurement Labs tested our PRS1-V-360 in June 2006 and concluded it was the very best, 360 degree system available to protect your vehicle from laser, photo and radar. The M45 and M25 easily detects the Laser Atlanta in Stealth mode, which is one of the two most difficult laser guns to jam. The Blinders are the only laser jammers today, tested by Speed Measurement Labs, which can defeat the Laser Atlanta laser gun. Dave, SML Laser Engieer - Dave is a very experienced laser engineer, always supports SML at each test conducted at the El Paso test site. He is the Engineer who confirms how well each laser jammer responds to a laser gun test.

Performance

The PRS1-V-360 Prowler Remote system is the best, 360 degree, remote radar detection, laser jamming and photo detection available today.

• The V1 Remote can detect the Ka radar band, the most used radar band today, at 10 miles when installed at the correct exterior location on the vehicle. The sensitivity is superb to detect weak signals from hidden "over the hill" radar traps and hidden "around the curve" radar traps. Average radar detectors do not provide this level of sensitivity.
  
  The V1 is excellent at filtering out false noise alerts.
  
  
• Radar - We road tested the V1 Remote at Speed Measurement Labs and on several 1000 mile trips. The objective is to determine how well the V1 Remote detects radar as compared to other remotes, such as RX75, SR7 and K40 Calibre. Installing the V1 at a good location is important, preferably as high as you can locate the V1 radar modules. During our road testing of the V1, we logged a typical 10 mile distance detection of Ka radar. This is Very good and some of the best detection sensitivity.
  
  False alerts were minimized by turning off X band radar detection, but we also discovered that some police are resorting back to X band radar, knowing that many drivers turn X band off. We suggest that you drive with X band on, test the water in your area and see if you are getting X band alerts from police (not automatic door openers in town). If no real X, then shut it off. Keep X on in New Jersey and Southern Colorado, and small towns.
  
  The V1 Remote is the only radar detector to offer Dual Band K and Ka POP3 alerts. We noted some POP3 alerts in our road tests, a very fast, (67millisecond) burst radar pulse. This type of signal leaves very little time for detection, but the V-1 does it very well with few false alerts. The high radar detection sensitivity of the Valentine 1..
  
  Laser - We tested the M45 and M25 at Speed Measurement Labs for distance of jam, Jam to gun performance, punch through, etc. Please reviw the test results to get details of this superb Blinder protection. Speed Measurement Labs confirmed the Blinders were more than capable at defeating a variety of laser guns.
