WHERE IS THE M25 LASER JAMMER TO BE INSTALLED?
The Blinder M25 is located in the grille to detect laser guns where they aim the laser beam on the headlights, grille and license plate. The laser beam can be 6” wide (at 300 feet) to 36” wide (at 1500 feet). Most police aim laser at a vehicle between 300 and 700 feet.
Two Laser Blockers provide front coverage on license plate and headlights. Install two front modules or two in the rear of the vehicle.
Installation/Tips
The Bel RX65 radar detector is easily located in the windshield by attaching the metal bracket supplied in the package, and then pressing the two vacuum cups at the desired position on the windshield. I think the best location is just below the rear view mirror and slightly to the left, for easy reach with your right hand. The Beltronics RX 65 radar detector display faces straight back, making it easy to view by left hand and right hand drivers.
The Blinder M25 package provides a plug and play installation. All modules connect into the interface module using telephone jack connections. The only hardwire requirements is the 12Vdc wire and ground. Everything else is plug and play with telephone jack connections. Pay attention to the installation quide for level installation to achieve maximum performance.
