Easy to Install

Escort radar detector designed the Passport 9500ci for custom installation. It can be installed in 3 locations. Traditionally, installers will put the radar module down in the front grille. We find you will get much better performance by installing the radar detector module up on the passenger sun visor in the cockpit.

For vehicles with Cambus power control such as Audi, Mercedes, Chrysler 2008 and newer; hardwire the APC 12 Vdc to 5A Interior Rear View Mirror tap in the fuse box. All other vehicles, connect 12Vdc to Cigarette Power line.

You can install the radar module on the rear, under the bumper or inside your passenger headrest, facing backwards for rear radar detection. The Passport 9500ci has an AutoScan mode to detect all radar in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. The Escort 9500ci is ideal for drivers in USA, Canada, Virginia, Eastern Australia, France, Germany, Italy, and all other European countries. Professional Drivers will love the Escort 9500ci.

Check out the small Escort Passport 9500ci radar detector display, 2 inches wide and 1/2 inch tall with an adhesive backing. If you want to really do this right, have your installer locate the display in your dash, so that when the display is off, nobody even knows what's in your car. When it is on, the Escort 9500ci Display shows the normal bootup displays and all the alert information - from behind your sppedo display. Install the small control unit into the dash or your center console.

Many of our competitors direct their customers to the corporate electronic shops that claim to do fast work. But quality work and fine details are not part of the Fast Installers business. Locate a good, local Stereo Installation shop to provide professional work for you. The Corporate install shops are there for speed, not detail or thoughful work. Average shops generally do not listen to what you want, and typically do not do what you ask. We will work with your local shop and verify they are qualified for this installation. If you feel your local shop is not well qualified and may not do what you want for your vehicle, consider taking a vacation to Denver, Colorado, and let our installation shop provide a superb installation for you.
