The Passport 8500 was updated to the X50 and Comes Fully Equipped. Installation/Tips

The Passport 8500 is easily located in the windshield by attaching the metal bracket supplied to the Passport 8500 X50, and then pressing the two vacuum cups at the desired position on the windshield. I think the best location is just below the rear view mirror and slightly to the left, for easy reach with your right hand.

The display faces to the left, thus it is better used with left hand drivers.
