Easy to Install
The V1 Remote Radar Detector is sturdy in design and easily installs in the grille, or above on the ski rack or luggage rack. It can also be installed just under the bumper on trucks and SUVs. The V1 Remote is hardwired into the 12V ignition system. The built-in self-test function guarantees reliable and complete protection every time you turn on the V1 Remote, as it tests each mode of operation on every start-up. The V1 Remote is designed for hidden installation; therefore, you may desire to have your local car stereo shop install the V1 Remote. Installation/Tips
The V1 remote radar detector is packaged in a water tight aluminum enclosure. It is designed to make the product look like a power amplifier. Directions for each module connection are provided. The cables and connections are all plug and play for simple installation. Just locate the V1 Remote Radar Detector at a location ideal for performance and looks, and you are ready to go.
Where you install the V1 Remote is important. If you drive a standard passenger vehicle, you might install into the grille. If you drive a pickup truck or SUV, you might install above on the ski rack or luggage rack. If you install above as part of the ski rack or luggage rack, the dual antennas of the V1 Remote are most effective, and the V1 Remote can give you front, rear side radar alerts.
We recommend a professional shop install the V1 Remote, but if you are a gadget guy or gal, installation is not difficult. The V1 Remote will provide better results the higher you can locate it in the vehicle. It includes everything you need in the box to get started. All orders are shipped via Fed Ex to a street address only. Delivery requires your signature. Orders prior to 4:30 PM MST are usually shipped the same business day. Shipping (Standard Overnight, 3rd Day, FED Ex Ground, Fed Ex International) is provided Monday –Friday and up until 10AM on Saturday. Sunday is excluded.
