To our customers. John Turner, recently installed a Beltronics STi-R remote radar detector in our Chevy 2500HD Dual cab pick up to attend the annual SML Radar Detector Test in June 2008. I used our new RADAR DETECTOR VISOR HOLDER, RDVH, and installed the radar module on the passenger visor, rather than down in the grille, as most installers do today. I wrapped the power cables around the windshield, hidden in the windshield trim, connected power to a plug in cigarette adaptor, plugged the power adaptor in, turned power on and programmed X band off. I DID NOT PAY A DIME FOR INSTALL COST!!!! I am in sales, and if I can do this, so can you. I bought a Blinder M25 from 1stRadarDetectors.com and installed on my Mazda RX-8. At one point the Blinder went off. It was so loud, I was startled and slowed down thinking there was something wrong with the electronics with my car. Sure enough, about a 1/4 mile ahead, a NJ state trooper was lurking with his laser gun on the side of the road. My M25 alerted me and I slowed down, but never got pulled over. Since then, my Blinder M25 has sounded off 5 more times. All NJ State Troopers, and one NY State Trooper - some at night, and some in the day time.
